Nompumezo Gubevu, born in Keiskammahoek in the Eastern Cape, is a visual artist and curator who is passionate about art and art education. She obtained her BTech in Fine Art and a BA Honours in Curatorship at NMU and UCT respectively. She is a Mandela Washington Fellow alum for leadership in civic engagement. Her works in glass and mixed media have been exhibited in various group exhibitions, including public artworks in Gqeberha. Nompumezo currently lives and works in Gqeberha.
