Nonto Sheryl Msomi (b.1988) is the Project Manager for the Art Bank of South Africa (ArtbankSA) and is tasked with establishing and developing the ArtbankSA Contemporary Visual Art Collection for leasing and to ensure the proper functioning and smooth running of the ArtbankSA programme.  Nonto hails from KZN where she graduated from the Durban University of Technology with qualifications in Fine Arts and Logistics Management. She has extensive experience in the art world having worked as a curator and educational resource developer at the Amazwi Abesifazane Museum (2013), visual arts coordinator, curator and facilitator at the BAT Centre Trust (2017), the KZN regional coordinator of Visual Arts Network of South Africa (VANSA) (2013-2015). She also took on the roles of coordinating the Global Village, Youth Programme, and the Cultural Activities for the International AIDS Society in 2016 (2015-2016).

She is a member of a number of arts associations and has served on a few non-profit boards and committees, notably as the Chair of the eThekwini Cultural Programme Committee for the International AIDS 2016 Conference, first black female President and Exhibitions Committee Chair of the KwaZulu Natal Society of Arts (2013-2016) and the National Visual Arts and Craft Sector Representative at the Cultural and Creative Industries Federation of South Africa. She currently serves on the Department of Arts and Culture Craft Advisory Team.
