BIOGRAPHY OF KRISTIN HUA YANG
Kristin Hua Yang is a contemporary artist who was born in China, and is living in South Africa. She completed her MA in Fine Art at the University of KwaZulu Natal in 2004 and is currently studying towards a PhD degree in Visual Arts there as a third semester student. She has visited most Southern African countries and visited museums, art galleries, contemporary art centres in European countries in 2004, 2005, 2007 and 2008.
Yang had a number of solo exhibitions that have been showcased in South Africa and Italy. Works have been exhibited and collected in various countries including South Africa, France, Germany, Sweden, U.K, Portugal, Italy and Austalia. Yang has exhibited extensively around South Africa and internationally, solidifying her work in the contemporary art industry.
