BIOGRAPHY OF BOLELANG LEEPILE
Bolelang Leepile was born in Dobsonvile Garderns Soweto in 1992. Leepile is a full-time artist but also a freelance curator with several projects and exhibitions he organized and participated in. From 2016-2017 he took on many opportunities as curator assistant positions: the Fresh Produce – a project of VANSA – at the Turbine Art Fair, 2016, working for Gallery Noko at the FNB Art Joburg Art Fair, and was the curator of the OPPI Art, Newtown Exhibition at Bibbed Restaurant. Leepile has participated in numerous group exhibitions such as Reconnect Sguzu-Press, Guns & Rain at Turbine Art Fair in 2016, Mall of Africa Spring exhibition in 2018, and the Afrofuturism Dialogue exhibition curated by Bolelang Leepile.
