BIOGRAPHY OF IRVIN NKWANYANA
Irvin Mlungisi Nkwanyana was born and raised in Durban, KwaZulu Natal. In 1997 completed Grade 12 at Amandlethu High School.
The onset for his interest in art was when Sarah Richards saw his potential and dedicated her time to refining his natural talents.
In 2010 he graduated as a Graphic Designer at the Durban University of Technology. He has showcased his work on different exhibitions around Durban and also took part in various projects including mosaic work. His recent execution of the late Dr A B Xuma has shaped his career as an artist. He is currently based in Johannesburg and working as a full-time sculptor.
