BIOGRAPHY OF ISSAC BONGANI MAHLANGO
With over 6 exhibitions and selected as a finalist in four separate Art competitions, Bongani Mahlangu is an emerging artist who has spent a considerable amount of time in the past decade establishing himself as an influential arts researcher and facilitator. He has unselfishly committed the past decade to empowering artists, crafters, and designers in the business of arts and product development. His research endeavours have earned him a BASA award for Leadership and Management in the Cultural Economy. Now he is back in the art production scene with a new body of work that is generating tremendous interest on social media platforms and online exhibitions.
Bongani Mahlangu has a Master of Arts Degree from the University of the Witwatersrand and has among other qualifications a Bachelor of Arts in Fine and Applied Arts, a National Diploma in Fine and Applied Arts and is currently a PhD candidate.
